I have a friend who loves Christina Aguilera. Like, luv-loves her and saw her and JT’s Justified/Stripper tour, like, three times. So naturally she was flipping out the day Christina released her newest album, Back to Basics. She liked it, but in the way you like chicken; it was just meh. She said she preferred ‘angry Christina’ better than this happy, in love, I’m-over-wearing-chaps platinum bombshell. Me? I like her all bombshell-y. I love the interest in feminine, shapely clothes, glamorous hair and pretty makeup. But Christina’s a mommy now, and I’ve seen photos of her with–gasp!–a makeup-less face! Noooooo! But I can rest assured; just last week during a department store appearance to celebrate the launch of her first U.S. fragrance ‘Inspire,’ the ex-Xtina arrived in pop-art colors and bright fuchsia lipstick.
