Gisele, The Face of Max Factor
Gorgeous, no doubt about it. Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen has been immortalized in a new ad campaign as the face of Max Factor. But, correct me if I’m wrong (and I know, fierce readers, you will), isn’t Max Factor a cosmetics company? Shouldn’t Ms. Gisele therefore be wearing some? Subtle, glowing and utterly glamorous she is, but somehow I notice the fur, the softly upswept ‘do, her blue eyes and pale skin long before I ever notice her makeup. And she is there to sell it, is she not? Beside the point? I can’t decide.

I agree with what you’re saying, but it might be due to the fact lately everyone’s going for the natural look?
Wearing make-up shouldn’t scream it from miles away. The new trends in make-up lean towards a more subtle glow that brings out the natural features of each woman.
Haa aha hah a! I love that sometimes the things you write are EXACTLY what I’m thinking. Maybe Max Factor is trying to recruit the more subtle clients?
i know, well max factor always made me think of wow make-up, and by wowi mean color, personally i am more for natural look, but yes i think they are more using her to get more people to buy, so well… the make-up was one of the lesser things, she is using blush though, and very light eye shadow and lip color…very subtle but yes it is a very natural look, nothing like max factor, i mean with carmen electra it was so very noticeable
