So how many of you chicas have been watching the Olympics? I don’t presume to be athletically inclined, and certainly anyone on the handball team could kick my ass – in handball, and in general. But these past few evenings, as I’ve blown hours of valuable beauty sleep in exchange for watching women’s gymnastics, I’ve become hooked. The excitement! The competition! The flips! The trips! And oh, the glitter! Again, I mean no offense, but some of these tweens need to ease up on the sparkles in their hair and face. Their feats are blinding enough! In my opinion, average-person glitter: Nars The Multiple in Orgasm ($37, narscosmetics.com). Olympic athlete glitter: Urban Decay Eyeshadow ($16, sephora.com). It’s all relative.
