So you know how Hollywood starlets have that oddly annoying habit of befriending their hairdressers? I mean, it goes deeper than a mutual respect; some pairs basically become attached at the hip (memo to Jennifer Aniston). Another example: Eva Longoria Parker and her mane squeeze, Ken Paves. Now I can appreciate the man’s skills. He’s created some of the cutest faux-bob styles and gorgeous beach waves this side of the Pacific Ocean. And he’s even crept his way into my own jaded heart with a Volumizing Hairspray ($24, beauty.hsn.com) that quite literally raises curls up as you mist them. But to become your confidant and constant companion overnight? How does he do it? The guy’s got to be extra special, because he also counts Eva Mendes, Jessica Simpson and even La Lopez as buddies. Me, I’ll just settle for a lasting relationship with his products.
