Eye Shadow Short Cuts
Seems brushes are out and appliqués are in; at least when it comes to eye shadow. Have y’all seen these almond-shaped eye cutouts (or…pads…or discs)? They’re pieces of paper with eye shadow in place–the contour color, pop color, and highlighter, already set up on the gauzy strips–and all you have to do is place each cutout over one eye lid, press it down and presto! Automatic eye shadow! I’ve tried various brands: Avon In A Wink Instant Eyeshadow Sheets ($5.99, avon.com) and ColorOn EyeEnvy ($25, sephora.com) with mixed results. While it’s fabulous fun to try, and even cooler not to have to carry around compacts of color to achieve a new look, I didn’t love having to blend the powders with my fingers so as to avoid the whole color-by-numbers look. Still, it’s high on drama and an irresistible new plaything for all those beauty junkies out there. Qué los difruten, chicas!

I have the Avon product and I love it. Everyone here at work have also went and bought the same ones, of course after having tried mine.. Esto es Bien Chulo, This is awesome!! I recommend it for when you are in a rush and need a quick fix to looking different. True you have to use your fingertips but you can also do as I do, use a tissue and you won’t dirty your fingers!! I use the ColorOn Pro and the new eye envy at Sephora brands all the time. I love them , the colors are beautiful, they last all day from the gym to cocktails, and feel nice
Worth the money!
I personaly tried the avon product and to much of my surprise the product does no apply evenly and much of the product stays on the paper.
