And after break ups, hopefully, we learn, we heal, we move on and what comes next is even better. I do really know what it is like to lose the MOST vaulable things in my life, material and non-material. When I lose things, I take inventory, and convince myself that what I have is greater than what I lost. (It really sucks when the dollar signs don't align.) Like Ben said, maybe it a call to examine your priorities BUT it of course does NOT take away from the value of your lap top, monetary and sentimental. (I agree he was nasty.) Perhaps, it will shed some light on other areas that need more of your focus and attention... only you know what that is...your friends, your fam, your health. Good luck on the book.... I bet this draft will be the ONE that you were meant to put out there! And have fun creating new Kodak moments. Good analogy, Lex. So sorry, but its never smart to put all your eggs into one basket. In other words, you depended on that laptop too much.. Once you depend on an object to that extent, you give away your power. I think what makes this more interesting is that you left behind in a taxi out of town. This happen to teach you a valuable lesson, don't depend on soley one thing. I am a amataur photographer. it become like an appendage. And i feel your pain. Its like breaking up with a guy and hoping u get back together. and then u start to realize that its NEVER gonna happen and ur hear begins to break all over again.

When the mother of the owner came to get it, I gave her a tongue lashing; If you loose something it is because you do not need it.
