Cover Critique Week: Mariah Carey

Gorgeous inside, gorgeous out; hot-pink apple cheeks and a radiant smile your signature look. And I’d give My All to copy it. With MAC Powder Blush in Fashion Frenzy, I’m flush with Emotions, because my face–for one brief, shimmering moment–mimics your own. But I Don’t Wanna Cry. I’ll mess up my makeup.

Girl, pleazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzze get a freaking grip, can’t believe you just wrote that crap about Mariah, she’s neither beautiful inside or out, that thing (for a lack of a better word) is all about herself, always has been always will be, and thankfully for her she doesn’t have to depend on me for her lively hood cause if she did, she’d be poor as dirt! She really needs to get a clue about how she dresses, it was semi ok when she was 20 but girl please, with her minis and stripper shoes who the hell aside from her bf can take her seriously, if you ever meet her can you tell her to get herself a real stylist and that it’s ok to love yourself but tone it down cause no one loves her more than she does, and really honestly, she is soooooooo not cute at all!
Your critiques are laughable, not to mention cheesy. Critiques are meant to contain both pros and cons, but you just gush on and on about how great everyone looks. The Eva Mendes cover was not good. She looked dirty, but you gushed about how hot, hot, hot she looked…come on, be honest. The Maria Carey cover looks airbrushed, so what is there to gush about there? The only cover that was really good was the Penelope cover. A little honesty wil buy you a lot of cred.
Love them or hate them, all these latinas have their own style and that’s what gets them on the covers of magazines! I personally don’t like Mariah but you gotta give it to her, she picked a look and stuck with it. All of these ladies are all hot in their way and we should celebrate it instead of knocking it.
Mariah’s cover is NOT airbrushed! I hate it when people say that. They just want to discredit and hate all over her. Get over your jealousy and see a shrink to deal with your issues.

I like her, but not this pic., so much. Whomever did the final details made her head look contorted. I do agree that Penelope’s pic. looked best as far as styling, + photographic imagery, as well as make-up application.
