A decade is a long time. Think of how young you were a decade ago. Think of what you were wearing a decade ago. Yeah. Scary. But when we talk about Sephora–and the mecca it is to so many of us beauty junkies–a decade means 10 years of beautiful success. I remember the first time I stepped into the store, the overwhelming heady rush of bliss that swept over me as I realized the possibilities. I can play with all of this! I thought. And a dependency was born. One of the most beautiful things about the store is the freedom they allow their customers; yes, you can touch the blush and put on the lipgloss–before you buy it, and without the judgmental pressure of a sales clerk staring at you expectantly. I could go on, but my point is to tell all you addicts out there that the store will be celebrating its birthday with the brands they house; companies like Urban Decay, Bare Minerals, Too Faced, Stila and more will be coming out with commemorative, special addition kits for all us to enjoy. And believe me, I will enjoy. Feel pretty, chicas!
