Daddy Yankee’s been laying low for a minute, but here he is with a new music video for “Pose,” which is the debut single from his biopic-but-not-really version of 8 Mile and Get Rich Or Die Tryin’–in his case, it’s called Talento del Barrio.

The flick premieres on July 23 at the New York International Latino Film Festival, and hopefully the general public will get to see it soon after. Its tagline? “A young drug dealer falls in love while facing disruption among the men in his gang and being offered a career as a reggaetón singer.” We’re not sure how this relates to “Pose,” in which the superstar asks all of us mujeres to model our hotness for him (Did you really have to ask, Yankee?), but it’s fun anyway. Sweet cameo by the Jabbawockeez!
