I'm just that kind of girl, I like sports, being outdoors, and it's always been easier for me to hang out with guys. Anyway, Rey did not like this at all & was very jealous in the beginning. The fact that Rey's gorgeous & my guy friends can be haters at times made me a little worried about bringing the 2 worlds together. My worries were squashed after they all met-all my friends (guys & girls) love him. I think my guy friends prefer him to me now actually. Sometimes I'll hear about events going on with MY friends from Rey. When things are meant to be they have a way of just working perfectly. The last guy I dated showed up to my friends birthday dinner already tipsy, continued to drink and hit on every other girl in the room, while eating off other peoples plates. I was sooo embarrassed. of course that relationship didn't last longer than that night. I am glad he didn't meet my parents! Aye Chica, I have had my fair share of failed friend meetings.

I have seen people get threatened by a line up of the father, uncles, brothers, nephews and even the ABUELO...! It was funny but I felt bad for the guy. My new beau though was like Sam he held his own at my dad's birthday party and I was so happy. He knew what to say and what not to say, it was perfect. HAVE A GOOD FOURTH OF JULY LADIES! I've had my fair share of duds—most of the men/boys I've dated in the past got no love from my friends and family—but now I'm finally with a real man who's stable, secure, and confident. It's such a blessing to be able to go out and be comfortable enough to mingle with other folks while not being tied to the hip of your boo. Sam sounds like a keeper! I'm glad you didn't give in to temptation. Girl, it’s like we’re living parallel lives or something.
