It’s no secret–half of the beauty products we buy, we buy for the packaging; the pretty, fun and in some cases, purposeful packaging. Cargo Botanical Lipstick ($20, sephora.com) comes with one that’s unbelievably Earth-friendly; the rectangle of paper that holds the lipstick is made out of corn (no joke!) and infused with wildflower seeds. So when you remove the lipstick, you can plant the box in your backyard (or pot ‘o dirt on the fire escape, for us city dwellers) and watch the fruits of your purchase grow. Oh, and $2 of the sale goes to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Honestly, could it look any prettier, get any greener, or feel any better?
