All About Eyes! Day 1 - Primed and Ready

Hola, chicas! I’m so excited to begin the first of many themed weeks here at Color Me Glam! This first one is devoted to your eyes. Your peepers will be sitting pretty after these genius products and cool little tips. So, let’s begin with a discussion on primers. (Bored? Hang with me.) My loyal readers know I am damn lazy; an extra step in my makeup routine is as necessary as 5-inch heels on a gravel walkway. But, I have a colleague here who swears by Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion ($16, urbandecay.com). The only time I think about using a primer is when I’m wearing liquid eye shadow, which has a wicked bad habit of creasing. If you have oily skin, the problem is worse. This primer promises to keep shadow in place–and it actually does. After such stellar word of mouth, I had to try it. Smooth, ladies. Very smooth.

I use this product too! I like it. I have tried others in the past but my eye shadow was always creasing. So I tried this one and so far so good. I love the way my eyes look even after a night of dancing, its all in place. Good stuff!

This was a recent discovery for me! I’ve been using it for two months now and have yet to crease or fade! Fantastic stuff!

I started using this as soon as Sephora started carrying it. It works so well and the extra step only takes a few seconds, literally! It keeps my shadows and eyeliner in place all day and keeps it looking fresh, too! I highly recommend this product. It will take your shadow from morning to night without a need for touch-ups!

I LOVE this primer! I was introduced to it this past summer. It kept my shadow “on point” even through a whole day, in July(!), at Disney World!

I just ran out of it, so I had to use a shadestick for a primer today, and I could just feel the crease coming on.

Yvonne: You can order it from urbandecay.com, buy it in a store like Sephora or Ulta, or they even sell it at some department store counters.
