Smells Like Latin Spirit
Scent is a tricky thing to discuss. Who can ever really articulate what something smells like? It’s a personal, completely subjective thing. However, the latest candle from Apothia Aromatics claims to have captured the the essence of Latin culture. The candle is called Verde (even though the wax is plain ‘ol white), and it straight-up smells like tomatoes, cilantro and hot peppers, only cleaner. Like I said, it’s hard to describe a fragrance. But it does have a certain desirable familiarity that most overwhelmingly fruity or floral-scented candles don’t. If you’re at a fine department store that sells it this spring (visit apothiaaromatics.com for locations), give it a sniff…see what you think.

I’m gonna go check it out. I need something like this in my house. It’s like that commercial where the girls family goes to visit, and she lights up a pumkin scented candle to make it seem like she was baking? Well this candle (Verde) does the same thing, but instead of people thinking you baked a cake, they’re gonna think you made a damn good sofrito! (ya me dio hambre) KEEP DOI’N WHAT U’R DOI’N CHICAS, U GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!
Sorry chicas, there was a little “typo” in the spelling of my name en el mensaje that I previously sent. I’ts actually Martha not Marha. (my bad.)
