Looks better than the Eric Bana/Ang Lee version, but still kinda dumb. Maybe it’s because I’m a girl, but I never understood the appeal of the Hulk, basically a dude in ugly shorts who is forced to show his emotions only when backed into a corner. To most girls, that’s your typical guy. Kinda sad to see Edward Norton playing him (opposite a pretty good cast: Liv Tyler, Tim Roth and William Hurt), but I guess I understand the logic that starts with a capital $. Still, doesn’t it make you miss the Ed who blew your mind in Primal Fear, Fight Club, and American History X and even 25th Hour? At one point, Ed was the thinking woman’s actor: intense, talented and ugly-cute. Then came Death to Smoochy, Red Dragon and Kingdom of Heaven. What happened to this guy’s career?
First of all..don’t ever put Edward Norton and ugly in the same sentence, b/c the man is HOTTTT. Second: I don’t believe he’s doing The Hulk for any other reason other than he’s always been a huge fan, as am I (and I’m a girl BTW). Third: the best thing about being a fan of Norton’s is you NEVER know what he’s going to do next. Fourth: Did you even SEE The Painted Veil, if not, BUY it.
