It implies going out in a state of unreadiness instead of beautiful and ready but with protection. I agree, its more like a raincoat, a condom, gloves. Its all about protecting the goods, which is rarely glamorous, but it beats the heck out of wrecking or replacing. You go, smartheels! I think its more like leaving the house with a raincoat on to protect a Versace dress. I wouldn't ruin a $3000 dress in a rainstorm and why should I ruin $700 shoes with all the cracks, dirt, and junk in the city. I saw they are offering free shipping right now so I am going to order a pair and I will let you know what I think. I like the idea., even more after I visited the website.
