Here’s an artist you’ll be seeing a lot more of in ‘08: Cali’s own Omar Cruz. The Mexican/Colombian MC will finally drop his album with BYI Entertainment/Geffen early next year, and he’s already getting us hyped with the first single–it features The Game and you can listen to it now on Cruz’s MySpace page.

More for your appetite: we’ve got the exclusive premiere of the music video for “I Hang With My Dogz,” Cruz’s new street single. The video was shot all over the street of LA and has the rapero rolling down Crenshaw Boulevard with his boys, just like Tupac (RIP) did in the classic video for “To Live and Die in LA.” It’s also got cameos from West Coast cats like Muggs from Cypress Hill, Glasses Malone, Jay Rock and DJ Skee. Check it out below, and stop by SOHH Latino for a behind-the-scenes look at the video shoot!
