Is Jennifer Lopez Still Playing Games?

Last week in Jennifer-Marc baby news, I read that the expecting couple picked out a pair of matching pink and blue onesies from the oh-so-posh LA baby boutique Petit Tresor.

Thinking myself well-versed in the tabloid-thwarting ways of celebs, I thought it was just a clever ploy to keep us guessing about their baby’s mystery gender. I guess I’m a little too jaded for my own good, because as it turns out, the couple’s entire baby registry is asking friends and family to buy two of each item (including, according to the New York Daily News, $349 pink and blue cashmere outfits, which the babies will no doubt wear once and promptly outgrow). Either Jennifer and Marc are really taking this secret-keeping game to the next level (which wouldn’t surprise me), or Marc actually will be doing double diaper duty come next spring. Sweet!
Random thoughts that are related to this topic but really don’t call for a full paragraph:
#1: The whole “blue for boys, pink for girls” thing is so played out. My babies (if and when I have them) will be decked out in green, purple, yellow–anything neutral, really–and if people can’t figure out that it’s a boy or a girl, that’s their problem!
#2: Does anyone else feel like Christina Aguilera has been pregnant for years now? Have your baby, already!
Oh, yeah: in other news that’s not nearly as captivating, Jennifer debuted her new music video for “Hold It, Don’t Drop It” last week. Her makeup is bananas. Check it out.
