So I have to admit that CBS exec Nina Tassler’s baby was losing steam there for a couple of weeks- and almost losing me.There were just too many plot twists crammed into one hour. I couldn’t even give myself a pedi cause I feared I might miss another person getting wacked, Alex Vega-style (honestly, who throws a body in a swamp to be eaten by gators?)

But last night I’ll admit I was entertained. Intrigued, even. Frank seemed to have an epiphany when Papa Duque told him it was the Samuels who killed his own sister Lucia when she was just a little girl. Now he gets why Alex has this sick vendetta for the Samuels, which, as Papa Duq’s says, will eat Alex alive and destroy his family.

I do hope Frank and Alex can get past their differences for the sake of the family
and the business.. As dangerously ambitious as Frank is, he does have
some great ideas on how to build the Duque rum empire.. Oh and what a
bonus that Alicia Keys cameo/performance at Club Duque was! But I didn’t
quite get wh she turned down Duque rums as her tour sponsor. Did you?
